Indiana University is one of a few public universities in the United States that offers merit-based awards to first-year international students.

The IU Global Engagement Scholarship is awarded to incoming first-year international students of the highest academic quality. Academic performance is assessed through information provided in the IU Admissions application, including high school transcript information and SAT and/or ACT scores (if applicable*). No additional scholarship application is needed if meeting the February 1 deadline. Only test scores received directly from the testing agency will be considered for scholarship and admission processes.

• The awards are renewable for four years.
