IU academic scholarships are merit scholarships offered by the Office of Enrollment Management at Indiana University Bloomington.
IU Bloomington is committed to making merit scholarship opportunities available to students who qualify, whether they apply with or without test scores. IU academic scholarships are awarded based on high performance in academic coursework, and test scores are not considered in the awarding of these merit scholarships. The assessment of a student’s academic performance is based on a number of factors, including high school GPA, grades received in coursework required by the Office of Admissions, and rigor and performance in advanced courses (AP, IB, honors, etc.).
Students who receive an IU academic scholarship will hear directly from the Office of Scholarships. Recipients will be notified starting mid-December via email, followed by a letter in the mail.
Please note that applicants to the Jacobs School of Music are not eligible for these scholarship opportunities. For any questions, please contact the Jacobs School directly at 812-855-7998 or musicadm@indiana.edu!
