- The Indiana County Fee Remission Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to, at most, two students from each Indiana county at a time. This scholarship covers up to 88% of a recipient’s tuition and mandatory fees at Indiana University Bloomington with possible annual renewal. If selected, recipients should refer to their terms and conditions email from the Office of scholarships for details about renewal eligibility and requirements.

- Eligibility Requirement:
- With only two students from each Indiana county being awarded this scholarship at a time, a student’s eligibility for consideration primarily depends on the permanent address listed in their IU student record. This scholarship is only available to students, incoming and current, at IU Bloomington and cannot be transferred to another IU campus. *Students receiving a scholarship that covers 100% of annual tuition such as, but not limited to, the IU Wells Scholars Program, IU Kelley Scholars Program, Lilly Scholars Program, and 21st Century Scholars Program are ineligible for this scholarship. Renewal Eligibility and Requirements This scholarship may be renewable for up to four years of use at IU Bloomington. If eligible, recipients must meet the following requirements each academic year: Remain an Indiana resident. Maintain full-time enrollment (minimum of 12 credit hours) each academic semester. Obtain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA by the start of each academic year. Meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress guidelines described at go.iu.edu/sap.
