Welcome to the IU Virtual Hoosier Scholar Celebration! We are so glad you are joining us for this exclusive, interactive webinar to celebrate you and your accomplishments. We look forward to sharing with you what IU Bloomington has to offer talented Hoosier Scholars.
During this event, you will have the opportunity to attend our opening session and two breakout sessions of your choice. Please read below for instructions on how to navigate the event and to learn more about each session.
How to Participate
We will be using Zoom this evening for our event. We recommend installing or updating Zoom Meeting Client at least 10 minutes prior to our Opening Session.
After you have installed Zoom, continue reading below to attend our Opening Session at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. Continue scrolling to learn more about the breakout sessions available during this evening.

Event Overview—You will have the opportunity to hear from academic departments and scholarship programs during the two breakout sessions of your choice.
During both breakout sessions, you can connect with representatives from various academic schools, scholarship programs, and departments to learn more about opportunities available to you. Use this time to learn more about life as a Hoosier Scholar and to get your questions answered. Programs will be the same for both breakout sessions.
We look forward to personally offering our congratulations on your acceptance to IU and your scholarship awards, as well as offer more information about the College of Arts and Sciences. We'll be talking about the five foundational skills of the College and how they will prepare you for a successful and meaningful life.
Find your circle of fellow creatives at the Eskenazi School. In this session we will cover what you may expect during your first year as well as have the opportunity to ask current students your questions.
Get to know the Hamilton Lugar School and how we support globally engaged students like you—from the first day of classes to graduation and beyond. Come prepared with questions and get ready to meet some of your future classmates.
The Hudson & Holland Scholars Program is a scholarship and support program focused on the recruitment and retention of high-achieving underrepresented minority students. Hudson & Holland provides a $6000 renewable scholarship, additional scholarship opportunities and various support services. Learn how you can be a Scholar and join community of over 2,000 students.
Join staff members from the Office of International Services to hear about the support offered to international students here at Indiana University. This breakout session is also a great time to ask any questions related to being an international student.
Join us to learn how the Kelley School of Business academic program prepares students for meaningful work, what kinds of clubs and organizations there are at Kelley and hear from Kelley staff about the Kelley experience. You will have the opportunity to ask current students and staff questions.
Chat with the Luddy deans and recruiting staff about how Luddy technology degrees can shape your future and how Luddy will provide you with a supportive and inclusive community in which to live, learn, and grow over the next four years.
Hear from current students about how The Media School has shaped their IU experience. Come with any questions you have about what it's like to be a student in The Media School!
Meet with representatives from the O’Neill School to discuss unique opportunities available to O’Neill students and ask any questions about specific programs.
Come and learn the basics of financial aid at IU Bloomington. We will share the timeline, helpful resources and next steps in regards to your financial aid. We welcome your questions in our chat feature of our zoom meeting, and recommend personal financial aid questions be routed to Student Central during business hours.
