Quanisha's future plans include being a role model and changing the lives of others.

Prior to attending Indiana University, Quanisha hadn’t traveled abroad, performed at a NFL game, or traveled down Bourbon Street and through Times Square. “As I am finishing up my undergraduate tenure at IU, I can say that I have developed in so many aspects of my life. I have partaken in many opportunities and the university has provided me with many resources” Quanisha stated. “I am graduating with many tools and instruments that I will be able to apply to everyday life.”

Being a role model is very important to Quanisha. “I pride myself in being able to be a paradigm, especially for people from underrepresented populations or those from disadvantaged backgrounds.”

Quanisha plans to touch the lives of many people in the very near future. “As a future community health and child youth care professional, I am very passionate about health disparities in underprivileged and minority populations. I believe that the health of everyone is important and that no one should be deprived of quality health services. Health services are a right, not privilege.”

Quanisha ultimately wants to positively impact others, similarly to the ways in which she has been impacted.
